January Speaker

Mike Boyce
Cobb Commission Chair
I believe that the Chairman is charged with the credo that he will lead a government that is fiscally responsible, lives within its means, and works with the business community to create an economic environment which encourages entrepreneurship and promotes responsible growth.  Above all, the chairman (and any elected official) should be a person who is known by the promises he keeps.

January Community Outreach

The Center for Children & Young Adults (CCYA) is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment with comprehensive services for homeless youth and young adults who have been abused, abandoned, neglected, or are at risk.

For over 30 years, CCYA has provided a home for Georgia’s homeless youth who have no one else who can or will care for them. In that time, we have helped raise and save more than 7,500 boys and girls in our community. These are all youth who have been abused, abandoned, neglected or are at risk. Some of the kids have parents who have passed away or have been incarcerated, or have abandoned them because of drug use or other criminal activity. Without a shelter home like CCYA, these youth would have no place to live.
