The 1 mile EAST COBBER parade will still begin at 10am in the Mount Bethel Elementary School parking lot, travel south on Johnson Ferry Road, and turn left onto Olde Towne Parkway.

Festival Site

The EAST COBBER Festival will be held in the south parking lot of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church immediately following the EAST COBBER parade. From 11 a.m.—3 p.m., the free Festival will feature arts and crafts, local businesses, food concessions, carnival games, and an entertainment stage.

Community Service

MUST Ministries Sandwiches for Summer

This a reminder that we are looking for donations for Must Ministries in the form of juice boxes and individually wrapped snacks. Some suggestions would be pretzels, cheese/peanut butter crackers,

fruit snacks, individually wrapped cookies.
Publix often has two for one specials so please keep an eye open.
Please bring them to the June Luncheon at Indian Hills.

Since his arrival in May of 2011, Vaughn Williams has initiated a transformation of the Kennesaw State University (KSU) Department of Athletics rarely seen in intercollegiate athletics.

Mr.Williams has worked tirelessly to introduce new standards for the department, strengthen relations with the KSU community, establish a greater presence in the communities of Kennesaw and Acworth and Cobb, Paulding and Cherokee Counties, assemble an administrative team to carry out his vision, and chart a course that will lead Kennesaw State to the forefront of Division I intercollegiate athletics.

Behind the leadership of Mr. Williams, Kennesaw State also has been successful in cultivating relationships with the business community as the Department of Athletics has signed sponsorship agreements with Fifth Third Bank, WellStar Health System, Superior Plumbing and Henssler Financial that have brought in more than $10 million in revenue to support student-athletes and athletics facilities.

Wenzel, a 21-year sports-industry veteran, spent the previous 10 years as a top athletic administrator at Georgia Tech, joining the Yellow Jackets in 2005 before being elevated to the position of Senior Women’s Administrator in 2006.  She was honored as the 2011 Administrator of the Year by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
