Dear Friend of the East Cobb Community,
On behalf of the East Cobb Business Association we’d like to once again ask for your support for two very special events.
The first event is the Cobb County Fire Department’s Annual Awards Banquet that takes place in February each year. The second event is the Police Appreciation Celebration held in October to thank the men and women of Precinct 4 (Lower Roswell Road) for all they do to keep our community safe. This event also coincides with Cobb County’s Public Safety Appreciation Week. Almost all of the officers and staff attend with their spouse or significant other, and they are treated to a fun and special evening at Olde Towne Athletic Club, planned just for them!
Both events are extremely well attended and very successful through the support of individuals, businesses, and organizations in our local community. We are confident that our community will once again rise to the challenge and provide the financial support needed.
Our police officers and firefighters are so grateful for the recognition, and if you were able to participate last year please accept our deepest thanks.
The Donation Form provides additional details about the levels of support, and we hope that your family, organization, school or business will consider how you might help. Sponsorship opportunities begin at just $25 to “Thank a Hero”.
We are blessed to live, work and raise our families in this wonderful community. We appreciate the continued support of The East Cobb Business Association, event host, and the presenting sponsor, WellStar East Cobb Health Park. Both are represented on the event committee that also includes individuals from East Cobb community-based groups including the Cobb Chamber’s East Cobb Area Council, East Cobb Citizen of the Year award recipients, area civic clubs, and representatives from both the police and fire departments.
We are delighted to continue to work together to plan these appreciation events, and to raise the funds necessary to insure their success. We are reaching out to individuals, businesses, civic and other nonprofit organizations, schools, neighborhoods and churches, and hope you will join us in support of our Public Safety heroes!
With grateful thanks,
Chair, East Cobb Public Safety Appreciation Committee
